Yoga Exercise Video
This website is an effort to determine the interest in a series of yoga exercise videos for large men.
My 38 year old son is 6' 3" tall and tries to keep his weight under 275; with varying degrees of success. However, he also took more than five years of yoga training including and instructor training course. That gives him an interesting perspective on the value of yoga and how to safely and properly do the exercises.
I keep telling him this makes for a unique situation with respect to showing others how to benefit from what he knows at the same time he gets himself back in shape. He knows how the various poses felt before and how they feel now. That means he can video exercises which are safe and effective now modified from the way they are taught to smaller and lighter individuals.
What I noticed about his yoga program as that he put on a lot of muscle but it accumulated in such a balanced way I mostly didn't notice. The lifters and body builders grow these huge muscles but they don't get the fine muscle support groups exercised well. The result is they often look really out of proportion.
If you are someone who would be interested in following such a video series use the form below to let me know. If I get enough responses I will see if I can talk him into it.
